From Potos, drive approximately 9.5 km in an easterly direction until you reach Thassos Oil gas station. Continue for another 2 km until you spot the sign for 'Giola.'


3. Can I Go with a normal Car to Giola?

You don't need a 4*4! Up to a point, a new asphalt road leads down to Giola where you can conveniently park your car. From there, a short walk of a couple of hundred meters takes you to the pool.

Alternatively, you can park on the main road and enjoy a scenic 30-minute walk down to Giola. Comfortable shoes are definitely recommended!


5. Best Time to Visit Giola

To avoid crowds, plan your visit during the quieter months of May, June, or September. Arriving early in the morning also ensures a more tranquil experience.
